Sarah Kaufman Finally, after months of anticipation, we will get an answer to who is the best 135 pounder in women’s MMA.
Number one ranked Sarah Kaufman (10-0) and number two ranked Takayo Hashi(12-1) will face off on the ShoMMA’s Strikeforce Challenger’s card Feb. 26 in San Jose, CA, according to the Showtime Sports website.
In a recent interview with Loretta Hunt, Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker stated this will be a title match.
“I think we’re going to be promoting Sarah against Takayo Hashi for our (vacant) 135-pound title,” said Coker. Source: fightergirls.com
